Key performance measure or indicators (KPI) can also be depicted visually using colors as well. I’d argue the color these visual is important. This is particularly relevant if the KPI needs to be indicated as having positive or negative reference. Often these visuals are depicted in two-colors to encode a binary positive/negative meaning, but the color ranges is a factor here too.
